Flipkart is preparing to roll out some of the steepest discounts of the year as its Big Billion Days Sale 2025 begins on September 23, with the Apple iPhone 16 lineup expected to headline the offers.
The online retailer is set to mark down prices on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, bringing them to levels not seen since their launch in 2024. The deals are likely to be among the lowest available on Apple’s flagship models outside of official clearance sales.
Currently, the iPhone 16 Pro retails at about Rs 1.15 lakh on Flipkart, reflecting a modest discount from its launch price of Rs 1.29 lakh. During the sale period, the phone is expected to drop sharply to Rs 69,999. Flipkart has not confirmed final figures, but market trackers expect bank and exchange offers to further reduce effective costs.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is listed at Rs 1.37 lakh, could see its price cut to nearly Rs 89,999 during the sale. This would make it one of the most aggressive markdowns on Apple’s top-end model in India this year.
The iPhone 16 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display, triple-lens rear cameras (48MP + 48MP + 12MP), and a 12MP front camera. It runs on the A18 Pro chip powered by a 6-core processor, aimed at high-speed performance and efficiency.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max offers similar specifications but features a larger 6.9-inch display, designed for users who prefer wider viewing screens.
Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale is known for short-lived price windows, as offers often change within hours due to high demand. Shoppers planning to buy Apple devices are advised to check deals early on the opening day, as inventory may not last long.
